Autumn Healing Journey

with Shauna Lay and guests

Friday October 18th – Sunday October 20th, 2019

Autumn Healing is a women’s gathering offering you the space to heal in sisterhood. Autumn is a natural time for inward reflection and healing. It is a time to connect deeply with yourself and determine the things that are holding you back from living a life you truly love. A life filled with joy, fulfillment, and connection.

This journey will be held in the beautiful Moon Lodge at Hawthorn Farm in Medfield, MA.

The experience is for 25 womxn

Every woman who heals herself, heals all the women who came before her and all the women who come after her.”
— Christiane Northrup

We will meet in Medfield, MA at the beauitful Moon Lodge. The Moon Lodge is a 1,700 square foot octagonal building that sits on a beautiful piece of land with pine and oak trees and a lake.  The land is peaceful and provides a natural medicine that heals us. As soon as we look at the sky, breathe in the air, and plant our feet on the soil of the earth we find a sense of connection that deeply heals and brings us back to what is truly important. There will be time and space to soak up the surroundings and walk on the land.

We will begin our journey together sharing a meal on the land.

Then we will gather in circle and we will talk about sisterhood and why it is vitally important for the healing of ourselves, each other, and the world. The rest of the weekend, I will guide you through a journey of healing rituals to promote connection to ourselves, each other and beyond.

“Women are being asked to rise up in their feminine power. We are being asked to come together and lead. In my opinion, we are already leaders, we already have power, and we have already risen up. But not in a way that has been helpful to humanity as a whole. Instead, I am asking women to humble themselves and learn to speak to their hopes and despairs and challenges to themselves and each other in a different kind of way. In a way that honors and respects one another and informs us of the ways we have gotten in our own way as well as the ways of each other. This is the practice. It requires a slowing down,  a deeper connection to the earth, a vulnerability with each other and a willingness to open your heart.”

A huge part of this retreat experience is the food because a huge part of healing is in the healing of our bodies. We will be fed high quality nourishing foods that are in season and free of gluten, dairy, and refined sugar.  Clean and pure foods help us to focus and find more clarity in our mind space.  We are able to let go easier and see where we are going.

Our journey together includes dinner on Friday night, lunch and dinner on Saturday as well as lunch on Sunday.

“Autumn is the time when the cycle that began in the spring, reaches completion. The fruit is harvested, things are cleared away, so that space can be made for a new beginning. It is important in this season to watch your balances and to give yourself time for settlement and reflection. You naturally go through a process of clearing out and it is wise not to make any important decisions.”

-Petra Ummenthun
