Today’s yoga video was inspired by a comment I received about opening the hips.

Teri writes “Half-pigeon kills me”.

Man do I understand that feeling.  Anytime you stretch your hips it is intense. Some people love it, some people hate it.

Personally I fall into the love category but that doesn’t mean holding hip openers is easy.

My trick is to use my breath. I inhale right into the sensation I feel.  I exhale completely and in that space where there is no breath in the body I totally let go.  I let everything go and then I repeat.

Your hips will begin to open if you practice these hip openers regular. And you will feel freedom to move in your body and you will feel so much better.
